Jordyn Woods can hope all she wants for a reconciliation with her former best friend Kylie Jenner, but Jenner isn’t interested anymore, People is reporting this week. The outlet spoke to a source who explained why Jenner unfollowed Woods on Instagram this weekend. The move, which got major media attention, was Jenner’s way of publicly declaring her and Woods’s estranged relationship status.
It was in part because Woods was seen dancing near Jenner’s sister Khloé Kardashian’s other ex-boyfriend James Harden. (TMZ was told by a source close to Woods that there’s nothing romantic happening between Harden and Woods, and the meeting was coincidental.) “Kylie just felt that Jordyn was really popping up in an annoying situation, where she shouldn’t be,” People‘s source said. “It was starting to bug Kylie.”
The source explained that things had been deteriorating behind the scenes ever since the Woods’s Tristan Thompson cheating scandal in February. “They have obviously not had a good friendship for months, but it seems Kylie never wanted to rush it and completely break away from Jordyn,” the source started. “Jordyn is very much trying to hang onto the world that she shared with Kylie. Kylie is just over it.”
Jenner has new friends now, the source said, and little desire to be with anyone dramatic. “She wants to live as drama free as possible,” the source said. “She just doesn’t need Jordyn in her life. Unfollowing her on Instagram was kind of the last step to break away from Jordyn.”
People‘s source update comes after Woods told Cosmopolitan UK in its September issue that she holds out hope that someday, she and Jenner will be friends again. “I love her. That’s my homie,” she said of Jenner. “I hope everything falls into place and that we can all grow and build our relationships with our family and God and come back together one day and be stronger and happier.”
